TEAM,
We had a great meet at the Oval Friday and Saturday. Thanks
to everyone that participated. It’s great to see the hard work you are putting
in pay off. For those of you that are not seeing the results you want come yet,
I encourage you to be patient and believe in the workouts we’re giving you. For
some of you this might be a wakeup call that you need to be putting in a little
more work.

This Week
This week we will be going to Weber State on Friday and
Saturday. Field events will be Friday night and running events will be

I will be doing the entries for this meet again. Fill out
this form to let me know what events you want to compete in. Each event is $4,
I will cover the cost of the relays. We really need to put together some good
relays this week so that we can get ready for Simplot in two weeks! Spikes are
allowed for High Jump, Long Jump and Pole Vault. No spikes are allowed on
Saturday for any of the running events.

Simplot
We will have a meeting for Simplot tomorrow after school. We
will meet as usual in the commons area at 2:45. All those going to Simplot will
then meet in my room 1408 to discuss Simplot. This should be enough time for
any freshman going to Simplot to get to the meeting. I will send a Simplot
email after the meeting to make sure you all have instructions. This email will
also be begging parents to drive. I have 3 vehicles committed to get 54 kids to
Pocatello. I’m not a math teacher like Coach T but I figure we need several
more parents to volunteer to drive if we are going to pull this off. I will give
your parents gas money and a t-shirt as incentive. Please have your parents
contact me if they can drive to/from or both ways. We will work out after the meeting.
