BYU INVITATIONAL
It was an impressive 2nd meet of the indoor season for the Darts. We brought the biggest TEAM to the BYU Invitational, and left with the most medals and t-shirts. It was fun to see so many of our athletes compete hard and set some personal bests. We were led by 2 school records (also Smith Fieldhouse Records): Bryce Hall broke his brother’s school and stadium record in the weight throw (57'08.25). And Candace Eddy ran 11:11.59 to set a new school and stadium record in the 2 mile. Natalie Haws also broke the school record with her 2nd place finish of 11:18.64. There were many other solid performances showing that the TEAM is improving and that the hard work is paying off.

Chosen as Athletes of the week are: Natalie Haws, Kristin Billings, Bryce Hall, and Taylor Carling.

ALUMNI UPDATES
Quite a few former Darts competed at the Snake River Open at Idaho State this past weekend. There were some very impressive marks. Ashlee Cannon (USU) won the 60m hurdles in 8.83. Krista Larson (USU) won the weight throw with 52'08.50. Morgan Haws (WSU) finished 2nd in the 3000m in 10:05.37. Jen Schiess (USU) finished 2nd in the High Jump with 5'04. Jordan Harris (UVSU) finished 6th in the Weight Throw with 38'10. And Camille Lott (WSU) finished 12th in the 400 in 1:01.36. On the men’s side, Brock Money (WSU) was 3rd in the weight throw with 45'09. Max Lennardt (WSU) was 7th in the 400 in 50.84. Ben Jacobsen (WSU) finished 12th in the 400 in 51.85. And Chris Burnett (WSU) ran 9:24 in the 3000m finishing 11th. Nice Job to all the former Darts!

SIMPLOT GAMES
We will be finalizing who will be going to the Simplot Games on Wednesday this week. If there are any late additions please talk to Coach Talley or Coach West by Wednesday.

WSU INVITATIONAL
The WSU Invitational will be this coming Friday and Saturday (25 & 26). The field events will be contested on Friday night beginning at 5:00pm, and the track events will begin Saturday morning at 9:00am. We will NOT be taking a bus. We will hand out more information about the WSU meet on Wednesday (the first day of track class).
